Responsibilities
  • Design, engineer and architect integrated OT/IT solutions, utilizing technologies like Digital Twins, IoT applications, and Industrial Protocols (OPC UA, MQTT).
  • Develop and implement Python scripts and Virtual Machines to automate tasks and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments (Engineering, Operations, OT, IT) to understand business needs and ensure technical solutions align with strategic goals.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in OT/IT convergence and emerging technologies.
  • Document technical solutions and procedures clearly and concisely.
  • Present technical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills and Requirements
  • Experience in industrial automation solutions within OT and IT environments.
  • A technical knowledge within control systems, instrumentation, or validation related engineering discipline across multiple industries.
  • Strong experience of performing a solution architecture / engineering role within a manufacturing environment especially with Cisco and Rockwell
  • Strong knowledge and application of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, analytics, AR/VR, asset tracking solutions, cyber security, digital twins, digital control towers etc.
  • Knowledge of ISA 95 and IEC 62443 standards
  • Technically leading complex projects throughout their complete lifecycle from requirements capture to handover and knowledge transfer.
  • Experience in business transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Industrial Automation and control systems
  • Expertise in OT network protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, OPC UA, MQTT)
  • Openness to collaboration and ability to work independently and as part of a team within diverse teams (Client and WWT)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation
  • Experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA and/or FactoryTalk Software will be a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledge of Batch Process Control, ISA-S88 standard programming.
  • Flexibility in approach to work and the ability to work within a diverse team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Manage the complexity of information and multiple partners to find solutions.
